Throughout my learning years I was always encouraged to develop my creativity. I have a degree in Dress & Textiles and ran my own successful Interior Design business. I am a self taught beader now teaching and running various workshops.I have been a lover of beads and jewellery all my life being intrigued and inspired by the design and construction of many items. Most of my pieces are born spontaneously. I rarely sketch just allowing the beads, gemstones and my imagination dictate the design. I endeavour to push boundaries in whatever medium I work and am excited to have introduced textiles into my jewellery. I consider many of my pieces as works of art that should be worn, loved and admired. Each piece is individually handmade assuring the wearer that they own something unique. My work is created in an ever expanding corner of my cottage within a pretty village in Hampshire. I share my home with Zuzi and Donald my two Pekingese dogs who tolerate my beading habit!
